One pathway, age three to the first team.

Wherever you start, you are part of one program that grows with you, all the way to the senior side.

Find your level

Every stage feeds the next, from a three year old's first session to the first team.

Juniors
Ages 3 to 7

Cubs

Where it starts. First touches, first teammates, and learning to love the game before anything else.

Cubs is the front door to Green Gully. No experience needed, and no expectation beyond turning up and having a go.

U7 to U14

Minis & Community

Small-sided and community football for boys and girls who want to play with their mates every week.

This is the biggest part of the club, and it stays that way on purpose. Every player gets a team, a coach and a game each weekend.

U13 to U18 YPL

Junior Boys & YPL

Our junior boys teams and the Boys Victorian Youth Premier League squads, the competitive step into Victoria's elite junior football.

YPL players train more, travel further and are pushed harder, with the U20s and the senior program sitting directly above them.

U7 to U18

Female Program

The Gully Girls program runs the whole way through, so a girl who starts at seven has somewhere to be at seventeen.

Girls can also play in the Minis and community teams, and move across into the girls program whenever it suits them.

Every Saturday, alongside your team football

Saturday Academy

An extra training program every Saturday, on top of a player's normal team sessions. It's more football and more coaching, and it can be a pathway into the Green Gully teams.

By joining our Green Gully squads you also become an automatic member of the Cavalier Academy, which takes part in extra competitions such as the Junior Academy League. That means football all year round, against the best clubs and academies in Melbourne.

Ways to play at Gully

Skills & fundamentals

Saturday Academy

Extra training every Saturday, building skills and confidence, and a pathway into the Green Gully teams.

U7 to U18

Gully Girls

The girls program runs the whole way through, from first MiniRoos sessions to our senior girls teams.

School holidays

Holiday Camps

Camps run through the school holidays, open to Gully players and kids from any club. Register through the club's holiday camp form.

The Gully Way

One philosophy, from CUBS to the first team.

At Green Gully we play a style of football that gets the most out of every player and every team. It's attacking football, and we look to dominate games in and out of possession.

We couple creativity with responsibility. We want our players to feel free on the pitch and willing to take risks, while understanding where and when to take them. We pride ourselves on controlling games, sticking to our principles, and building a belief in the team and the club that we can compete with anyone in the state.

We want coaches who are still learning and who believe in how we play. Gully football is attacking and built on effective possession, from MiniRoos all the way up.
