Built on family, since 1955.

From a Maltese migrant community in Melbourne's west to one of Victoria's great football clubs, with a bistro and function venue at its heart.

A club the community built

Green Gully was founded in 1955 by Melbourne's Maltese community as Ajax Soccer Club, adopting the green and white of Floriana back home.

The club moved to its home at Green Gully Reserve in Keilor Downs in 1966, and the Cavaliers have been a pillar of the western suburbs ever since. Today the badge carries seven decades of pride, nine Victorian championships, a senior side in Football Victoria's state competition, and one of the busiest junior programs in the state.
